Limited Value Jouyou Kanji (In Progress)

If we are to believe in the accuracy of the Aichi University list, which claims 1600 characters represent 99% of newspaper content, then the following 419 Jouyou kanji that don't make it on to that list should be of limited use. Is that really the case? You always have to keep in mind that Japanese character lists, including the priority words on EDICT, all revolve around newspaper language. Just because a word or character doesn't appear in the paper doesn't mean that it is of no use. Which of the following kanji really are of limited use? Let's see if we can find out.
